"Just a few kilometers from here," he told them, "in a house on the coast which
has been in the family for several hundred years.  He took a seat at the round
table, which he had requested from his cousin. There would be no foot, no head,
no rank here.  "Everything on the menu is fit to eat," he let them know.  "Some
things, of course, are more fit than others.  For those who enjoy corned beef,
he has the best in the county, if not on the island.  The venison is also
outstanding."
Ariel took one of the other seats and the table and glanced around the room.  It
provided a bit of insight into her commanding officer.  It was something that
she appreciated ... the fact that he was willing to invite them into his
personal life like this.  They were getting a glimpse at the man who sat in the
command chair.
Donovan pipes up, "What's on tap?"
The bar wench, an extremely attractive young lady with a thick brogue and
cascading waves of flaming red hair, moved to their table and took a seat on
the captain's lap.  She smiled at the group and said, "on tap we have all forms
of Guiness, Killians, and two of our own house brews," she told him.  "We also
have bottled beer from around the galaxy, including Orion grasht."  She turned
to Colin.  "Good to see you again, Uncle Captain Colin," she greeted him, with
a quick peck on the cheek.
Their captain had been trying not to blush, but he was unable to keep it
entirely off his face.  "My neice," he introduced them.  "Noreen,"
(eh?)
