Now that the investigative team had arrived at Mars control messages were sent to Admirals Lasiter and Renaud informing them of what had happened to their Runabout and their health status.
Another thing on Lasiter's already troubled mind....
A few moments after Admiral Lasiter had read the report, twice, the notice went out...
Jane, Lasiter's executive assistant, called Admirals t'Llhweiir, Renaud, and Smallwood to his office. In her invitation she told them what had happened, if they hadn't already known about it, and informed them that they were summoned. Her way of casually letting them know that Adm. Lasiter wanted answers and would be hard on them in the meeting.
She also called Ops, to have the watch officer send down any and all sensor and comm traffic recordings.
