>"He has the support of the full Council, but Admiral Lasiter does not
>support it at all. That's what put me in his dog house."

>"As much as I see your point, he doesn't work for Lasiter. He works for the
>State Department and their goals and objectives don't always match ours or
>Lasiter's and Admiral Lasiter has to recognize that. See if you can
>compromise with him." He wiped his mouth on his napkin, "It's getting close
>and I need to go."

>"So do I," Candance said as she spooned a final bite of salad into her >mouth.

>He leaned over and kissed his wife, "Dinner for sure tonight? I believe I
>owe you a hot bath."

>"I'm going to hold you to it this time," she said with a smile.

>She gathered her padd and travelled with him to SF Headquarters. With a last
>kiss, Candance and her security escort went to her office.

Nile...then one summoning him to Lasiter's office.

He packed up and took off.

As he walked, he called Mars Control, "Admiral Renaud to Mars Control. I want any Comm
Logs from the Nile sent to my office immediately."
