"Please come in," replied the Counselor from the other side of the door.
The Admiral stepped forward as the doors parted to step into the office.
When the Admiral stepped through the doors, Joanna was walking with a smile toward him. She extended a hand to shake as she drew closer. "Welcome to my office, sir. Please feel free to take a seat," she said as she indicated the sitting area that was in the center of the room.
Jared returned the shake of the striking woman. She was not tall but carried herself with confidence. Her dark blue eyes sparkled in friendship. "Thank you for meeting me on such short notice, Counselor."
"Where would you like to start, Admiral?" she asked as she sat down in the chair across from Admiral Jackson.
"I guess the most important thing to discuss is the status of your patient. Do you think Captain Boulay will be able to hold up under the pressures of this investigation?"
She nodded her head. "Captain Boulay has come a long way in a short amount of time. When he first came to me he was quite scarred by his experiences on his last mission. I diagnosed him with post traumatic stress disorder. Through some sessions with me and the support of his loved ones, he has stabilized. While I would not say he is cured, he should be able to provide you with any information you need. In fact, I think it might do him some good."
(response?)
"Well, sir, one of the patient's concerns was that those who were responsible for what happened would not be brought to justice. You will in fact be addressing that concern directly."
(response?)
