Celine LaLune-Ares stepped into the corridor. She had just left her quarters and was on her way to her first duty shift in Engineering. She was not nervous, though, because she had been in Starfleet for years.
She had arrived just the evening before with her two twin children, Julian and Jacqueline, age 14. It was going to be nice to be stationed near Earth, though she was not lookin forward to being stationed separately for her husband. The kids were already at school so she had nothing to worry about in that area, but it was going to a while to get used to being stationed at such a big installation. The closest she had ever been to it was when she was stationed on Deep Space 4 many years earlier. She was kept busy on the ride down to the Engineering section in one of the turbolifts thinking about the things she needed to do to get her quarters up to par. Celine knew that her new boss was going to be a Horta so it made it easy to identify him when she arrived. She made her way over to him. Excuse me, sir. I am Celine LaLune-Ares.
