The department was well staffed from what she could see. In fact,
checking
over recent reports, the station had been brought back to operation fairly quickly after the recent bombing. That said a lot for the Chief Engineer since he had only just arrived when it had happened. After a few moments of review, Celine chose her team and recruited them. They made their way to Generator One and set to work. Upon arrival the repair team found that the generator was working, but had basically been patched up to keep it running after the bombing, but it could definitely use some further repairs to bring it back up to code. Celine studied the repairs that had been made. While they had
probably helped keep the station running during the recent emergency, it was
only a matter of time before the repairs started to fail.
She assigned the rest of the team to specific tasks. They were things
that each individual could do well. She would follow up by checking up on
them. She herself set to work on fine tuning the energy production as the
repairs were complete.
All in all the repairs went well and were routine. It showed that
Spacedock had a good team of engineers even on the training level. After
about 2 hours on the job, they returned to Main Engineering. While
walking, Celine had completed her report.
Upon arriving, she made her way over to her knew department head.
"Excuse me, sir."

"I wanted to give you the repair report. I think that you will be
pleased at how the trainees did."
