"Relax, Commander," t'Llhweiir replied. She did not want to discourage
initiative, but she would be looking for--and had better find--reference to the
investigation in *somebody's* prior reports. "I am only surprised that he had
already gotten our attention. Please continue."

After her conversation with Smallwood, she contacted her assistant. "Y'Toi, I
need all reports related to Richard Bates and any other relevant references in
the media and other non-Star Fleet sources."

Y'Toi replied, "Yes, Admiral."

Switching gears, the Ferengi continued, "By the way, your cousin asks you to
call her. Something about your grandmother's wedding dress."

"Oh, Elements. Thank you, Y'Toi."

t'Llhweiir broke the connection and contacted Hawaii. Meanwhile, Y'Toi relayed
the admiral's orders to the appropriate departments in Intel.
