"Of course, sir," he said simply. "Do we have any information on they type of craft they are likely to use? And if so, am I permitted to ask my tactical officer to study the craft design for best points of attack to achieve our goals, without revealing any other details about the mission?"
"Only share what you absolutely have to. Once you pull out of Spacedock you will have to keep communications to an absolute minimal. At that point you can inform your crew. The suspect vessel is a Perigrine class shuttle, a civilian craft. However, it's been refitted with some serious weapons for it's size, and it tough enough to force down a Starfleet runnabout. They used one craft on the attack on the runnabout, but may use more on this raid."
"The transfer has yet to be scheduled. How long would it take you and your crew to be ready?"
"The ship itself is kept in 'instant alert' status because of its underlying duties," Colin told him. "I've already placed the command crew on fifteen minute recall notice. Given that no refit or restocking is needed, we can be ready to ship out in as little thirty minutes from now, sir."
"Good. There is one more thing. I would like to have you hold the prisioner for us. The transfer officially will be from the brig on Mars to that on Spacedock. However, for security reasons, I would like to quitely move him from Spacedock to your brig. You will then hold position just outside the solar system, in an out of the way spot."
