"Damn!!" Wilson swore as the ships came up on her scanners. Fingers
flying, she quickly sought additional information about the
vessels.
"Incoming ships," she said crisply as she continued to gather data. "They simply appeared, checking to see if they some sort of cloaking devices. At their current position and speed, they will be within firing range within two minutes. "Shuttles similar to the others we've encountered with enhanced weaponry, again transmitting no id's or showing any identifying symbols on their hulls. Each has three human life signs. "The larger vessel similar in size to a Defiant-class ship, but appears to be civilian in design and has the same weapons and the shuttles. Picking up fifty life signs," she concluded before turning towards the Klingon. There was a series of squeaks coming from Jorgensen as Wilson spoke. Each time she added more information, the sounds became louder and more frantic. The lawyer said nothing, but it was clear from the paleness of her face and the sweat beading on her brow that she was starting to wish she had passed on the offer of a ride. <'Damn' was a good way to summarized the situation,> thought the Klingon as he took in all of her information. With the other two Runabouts, their group still outnumbered the new arrivals. "Commander, I recommend we ask for immediate transport to Centurian. We can't stand up to this kind of firepower, and Centurian can't keep us inside their shields and fight at the same time." "I concur with Commander Wilson." "It would seem the best option to get us all out of here alive. Captain, how about a lift over to your ship," said the Klingon as he addressed the Centurian's CO over the open comm line. "Captain Fitzgarald, if I may sir, I'm Lt. Doe of Starfleet Security. Transport the prisoner and Commander K'Tael's party to the Centurian. We can give them another target, at least for a few minutes. That may be enough for you and your crew to work your magic. Just a suggestion, sir," piped up the LT at helm. {OOC the rest of Lt. Doe's team is with the prisioner and the others. - CS } (OOC: You did not have to keep the name Doe. I just referred to
him as that because we hadn't provided a name yet. Is his first name John?
;)! -AJ)
Colin glanced to Ares. "What are their weapons capabilities?" he asked her. "Enough to make a difference, or just allow them to be cannon fodder?" Ariel had been scanning the new comers when the Captain's request came
in. "Sir, I think the Back River could have handled a group if they were
made up of shuttles like we had been dealing with, but the larger ship has
firepower equivalent to a Defiant-class vessel. These people are done
playing around with us."
The enemies ability to draw in reinforcements was annoying him
greatly. "Notify the transporter room to bring all but Lt Doe's cadre
aboard. Once they are aboard, give me full impulse power at ten degrees
negative plane. Bring us under the largest Bogie at full speed.
Prepare a full spread of torpedoes to come to bear upon their engines. And
request that Mars Colony begin to jam unauthorized communications in this
area. We can move to tachyon packets for our comms."
Ariel went to work immediately, quickly notifying the transporter rooms to
bring over the Runabout crew immediately. She arranged to have them
transported to the Brig with the prisoner and his lawyer beamed into a cell and
the rest placed outside of it.
Once she finished with that request she set up the torpedoes to take out
their new friends.

On the Back River....
"Lt. Doe, this is Ensign Nguyen. I have been asked to transport all
aboard your Runabout to our ship. Lt Ares, our Security Chief, would like us to
transport you all to our Brig area, with the prisoner and his lawyer within a
cell. Is that all right with you folks?" Time was short, but it was
a question that made it clear that K'Tael's team was still in charge of the
prisoner.
