Wilson quickly slaved the comm and sensors over to the co-pilot. She then stood and readied herself for transport. "If you please?" she said to Jorgensen and his lawyer. Ione stood and straightened out her suit while her client stood shakily. He was looking like he could pass out or vomit. It would be interesting to see which happened first. His lawyer grabbed his arm and tugged him up. > A few seconds later a familiar hum sounding as those aboard the Runabout > felt the tingle of the transporters kicked in. Jorgensen and his lawyer were in a cell, where the > shielded door kicked in when transport was complete. > > There was a security officer at the main console. "Brig to Bridge. The > team from the Back River is aboard, sir." Wilson glanced around to make sure everyone made it safely. K'Tael made his way over to the cell. "Are you both all right?" he
asked
with genuine concern. Jorgensen just collapsed. His lawyer looked at him. "I think we will be fine, Commander," she said in annoyance. It was directed at her own client for a change as she leaned over to check his vitals. He then turned to his team and raised his eyebrows to ask the same question. (response?) AJ |
