Tr'Lawsh proceeded to do just that, scanning every detail of the book into
the computer's memory.  Once that was done, she set the book aside and
turned on the monitor to see what their guests were up to.

They were in the common area of the detention area doing what looked like ritualized combat exercises- like tai chi.
 
Daphne was always amazed by the fact that the galaxy was filled with so many different cultures, but they all seemed to have certain things in common.  This was a perfect example.  The felinids clearly had their own unique forms of martial arts and the exercises that go along with them.  She glanced toward her Caitian companion to see if there was a familiarity to the exercises for her.  They could actually be based on Caitian martial arts.
