Shortly after Kitanya left his office, Lasiter left for the day. He walked to
his quarters within the SF Command complex. Deciding to shed the uniform that
he wore, he donned a simple, yet classic suit. It was something that with the
jacket removed could become quite casual, but could still be formal if need be
with the jacket on.
Lasiter slipped a small bottle of single malt scotch into his jacket pocket.
It was something that he bought for himself for a special occassion, and he
thought it would be a good gift for his scotch loving doctor frient. Afterall,
what a better gift than something of oneself. For Carrhae.... now that was the
hard one. While their friendship was sailing through troubled waters at the
moment, they were still long time friends. She deserved something of himself,
and nothing less. He thought for a moment, and decided to give her a pin that
he had once given to his late wife. It was an anniversary gift. Number 2 in
fact. A gift from when they were still quite in love. A gift given in love
should be in the possession of one in love, and Carrhae fit the bill. Instead
of his pocket, Samuel stuck it over his heart.
With the gifts set, he departed for Hawaii, and as soon as he left his
quarters, his 3 being security detail stepped up. Together they went to the
transporter room....
After the customary calls to announce a transport, and security's verification
that everything was ok, the first security officer of Lasiter's detail arrived.
After conferring with t'Llhweiir's lead security officer, he signaled for
Lasiter to follow. Which he did with the other two security officers. They
remained outside, as Lasiter took a few steps toward the main house.....
