{If you check the work logs, that work was done while repairs were being made, and transfer points were more than doubled in number to act as a redundancy system in case of a system failure. By 'pet projects', I meant station additions and possible theoretical ideas.}

As we all know, there is always room for systems' improvements.  I thought you were looking for something like that."  It was clear that she was pulling back since the conversation had moved from being friendly to being purely professional.
