Sam was already at the replomat when Chase arrived. He was seated at one of the tables sipping a coffee and picking at a fruit salad while he was reading a PADD. He was most likely going about his daily routine and was waiting to be surprised by his to visiting friends.
Chase made his way over to the replicator and ordered an mushroom and cheese omelet, weat toast and orange juice, which he took back with him to the table Same was seated at. "Morning, Sam. Mind if I pull up a chair and have some breakfast while we wait for Jaime?"
Sam simply nodded his head as he continued reading.
Chase smiled and sat down. "Thanks for last night. It was helpful, and fun, getting to see the station."
"No, problem, Chase. Getting to know the place will make it easier for you to know all the important places to check out. There is nothing better for making the most outof your visit."
Chase responded with a nod before taking another bite. They sat in silence while they waited for Jaime to arrive.
Jaime rushed in and fell into the empty seat at the table. Breathlessly, she said, "Morning, guys."
Chase had seen Jaime racing into the replimat and smiled at her arrival.
"Good morning, Jaime. Did you sleep well?"
(Jaime?)
"Would you like me to get you something from the replicator while you are settling in?" Chase offered.
"Don't know what I was thinking. I was halfway through with my breakfast when I realized I was supposed to meet you two here," she added with a half self-reproachful smile.
Sam laughed in response. "I would not worry. You are on vacation. There is no reason to rush around like you have appointments to meet." It was clear that Sam was not bothered by her lateness, particularly, since he and Chase had only been sitting there for a few minutes.
"And our tour of the station led to a late night last evening."
Sam smiled once more. "Well, you guys did ask to see all of the sights. Most people do not realize how much there is to see and experience on this station."
