"Don't get ahead of your self, Admiral. Whom we decide to call to
testify
is our decision and ours alone, and if we want to call the Commander in
Chief... we will.", snarled the Rigellan.
"As you wish Ambassador." is all Lorin said with a calm facial
expression...he couldn't wait to get out here.
"I believe that such an arrangement could be achieved. It would make
answering questions easier and save >us all from having to defer
information until they could be contacted by your office. That just
means you >would have to return before this committee for more than is
necessary."
Lorin nodded.
The Tellarite glanced back and forth among his fellow committee members
wondering if anyone would propose a deadline for the Admiral to report
back. When no one spoke up, he decided to take the lead on the issue.
"Admiral, you seemed to feel that you could clear some of this up
within days. Would you like to report back to us on your progress in a
week?" asked Drak.
