Jaime watched him leave. Then, she said to Chase, "I guess I'll see
you at lunch, then." There was still some uncertainty in her voice,
but it was clear that she was bucking herself up for the task ahead.
Chase turned to look at Jaime. "I guess I will see you for lunch."
She nodded and watched him leave. After he disappeared inside a turbolift, she stared down into her orange juice for several second. She took a deep breath and let it out slowly. Then, gathering the nearly empty glass and her padd, she stood and took the glass to the recycler.Jaime caught a turbolift to the deck designated as home for the Aqualish ambassadorial offices.
