>With a shrewd look at the Clone, T'remea Dolari Haryail suddenly commented
>to the Plantoc, "T'remea D'amondra's reassignment must have changed her
>tastes quite a bit, Plantoc. Ambassador D'amondra never used to like the
>bitter H'ornam tea that the Chef is serving; she was so renowned for

>for the sweet Sh'umara tea that one tea manufacturer even named a line of
>Sh'umara after her."
>
>T'Kresh was surprised by Haryail's comments. It was not so much because
>the information was not true, but because she had not noticed it. She had not
>been paying that much attention to the details as she should have been.
>"You are correct. Perhaps, she has made some life changes since her
>reappointment," she said wondering if there was something more to all of
>these differences in her former colleague.
Celana D'amondra looked in Haryail's direction with a nonplussed expression.
"Perhaps my taste for H'ornam did not develop as fast as certain changes
in your life, T'remea Haryail." She didn't need to point out the blinking
implants on the Ambassador's face and hands.
Fleetmaster T'landran stepped in quickly. "What T'remea D'amondra has been
so kind to conceal is that Venasian military ships are not stocked with
Sh'umara; its sugar content makes it a rather perishable item, and its
preparation requires too much time and a delicate touch. The only teas
available to her aboard the ships where she has been residing are the
H'ornam, Dulna, and Preoar varieties."
A'amon nodded in agreement, but Haryail looked unconvinced. She said
nothing more, however.
Lasiter noted the interaction between Haryail and Fleetmaster T'landran and
General A'amon. While he had serious doubts about the new ambassador, this
exhange gave him reason to give her the benefit of the doubt. He would most
definately have to talk with her in a more private setting. However, until
then, Lasiter had other things to do, like get ready to go to Cait.
"If you will excuse me, General, Fleetmaster. I must attend to another matter,
a formal visit to Cait for the burrial of my former Chief of Staff on Cait. I
do look forward to our chat, General.", Lasiter said excusing himself.
