Torgath followed the Horta as they headed toward the turbolift.  He stepped up
his pace in order to keep up with Shevab, which was a bit of a challenge
considering his small size.  He decided that  they could continue the
investigation in  transit.   "Commander, have you ever seen this person before?
 Do  you have any idea who he might be?"

{As I said before, no, I have never seen him before. All he said is on the
chip.}

"Perhaps you could paraphrase things  for us. Sometimes the victims
perspective can provide  information that we could figure out on our own by
just looking  at security tapes."

{My 'perspective' is that he seemed not to  'know his anus from his head', so
to speak. A simple expendable pawn trying to take out a higher piece on the
board so to speak. I was to be killed as a message somehow to the other aliens
aboard the Station, whether there was to be a physical message left behind with
my body I do not know.}

Torgath stumbled slightly upon hearing the response. It was not the type of
response he expected from a fellow Starfleet officer, nevermind from a superior
officer.  "Commander, we are not asking these questions to be difficult. It is
clear that your assailant was not really competent at his  job, but we do need
to hear some details rather than insults if we are going to get the specifics
of his identity and what he was doing in Engineering.  There are thousands of
non-humans on board.  Why did he specifically choose you?"

Considering the three of them as they made their way down the hallway, Geb
thought that was a bit of an understatement. None of them would be mistake for
a human, even if two of them were humanoids.

{All I was told was 'You are the most alien aboard the station .." and my death
was to be an example. My stalling for time did not produce much else in the way
of information I am afraid. I did notice he or someone knew enough to set his
weapon at a power level strong enough to damage the door but not set off the
phaser alarms as it would be interpreted as a welder or similar tool in
Engineering.}

"Do you recognize him as being a member of your staff?" asked the Brikarian.
"Perhaps he was new to your team or had recently been assigned but had not
started." Geb was trying to figure out how the man, whatever his name was, had
infiltrated the department.

(ooc: Wasn't the guy's name Adam or something?)
