Watson stumbled slightly at the smack but maintained his balance. He laughed as well and said, "Ambassador Valtris-the only cowards who do not help us find our former Ambassador."

"Ambassador, I will be on assignment off-world shortly after the Ramesar arrive. I will be there to greet them, >but afterwards, I'm afraid the Council will have to oversee their visit." A subtle reminder that the Council--i.e., >Watson--not Star Fleet, extended the invitation to the Ramesar.

"Understood Admiral. Watson out."

T'Kresh had to work hard to repress a smile. She was surprised at how quickly Watson had backstepped >on his plans. She was pleased, but had not expected it. To some degree, his forgetfulness and lack of will >suggested a weakness of character; one she was surprised to see in a Federation representative. The irony >is that Valtris had called him on it, and he had played along in the hopes that everyone would miss his >error. "Please make it quick, Ambassador. We have a need to depart quickly."

"On my way...if you'll excuse me.:" He said to the others as he left.

Watson went and packed his bags. Before he left, he stopped to remind his Assistant to doublecheck the plans for the Ramesar and authorized her to assist in anyway needed even if she had to be physically at the reception location.

He arrived at the docking bay shortly after.

The rest of the amabassadorial team was already waiting for him when he arrived. Valtris stood quietly speaking with Amabassador Ra'aj and turned when the human approached. "Welcome aboard, Ambassador. It seems we are ready to depart."

(ooc: What kind of vessel has Admrial Bedru arranged for us?)
