"Good," Bedru answered. "Unfortunately, I will be leaving in a few
hours for a conference off-world. Ambassador Watson and I will have
to depend on you to represent the Federation in our dealings with the
Ramesar."

"If I can assist you in any way before I leave, do let me know."

A small band of people were standing together and considering their varied
racial background, it was clear that they were the welcoming committee for
the Ramesar Ambassador. Koomah made his way over to them. "Is this where
we line up to welcome newcomers?" he asked with a smile that displayed the
usual mess of Klingon teeth.
"Yes, Ambassador....?"
Bedru listened quietly to the conversation.
> Dolari Haryail entered as well, her gold-flecked eyes glittering almost in
> sync with her Borg implants. There was an eerie beauty about her,
in a very
> cyborg way. "Gentle tides, Ambassadors, Admiral," she greeted.
"Greetings, Ambassador," Bedru replied.
*** In space ***
As the Ramesar corvette approached Starbase McKinley with her escort
and docked without incident. Operations noticed that the ship was
scanning the station, but that gave them little reason for concern.
They were, in fact, new. They did, however, notify Admiral Lorin
Renaud and Admiral Bedru that the Ramesar ship was just completing
docking procedures and of the scans.
Bedru acknowledged the call.
Moments later the airlock opened and out walked two Ramesar soldiers.
They were dressed in grey uniforms with black boots, gloves, and a
helmet complete with a face piece. They took up positions on either
side of the door, and Emisary Marconis followed them. He first
caught sight of Bedru.
"Admiral Bedru, I am Emissary Korin Marconis. I extend the greetings
from the Ramesar Dynastra and Warmaster Gruntellis."
(ooc: gm, does she know him or anyone in the entourage from the mission to
ramesar?)
"Emissary, welcome. I trust your journey was an uneventful one?"
(response)
"May I introduce the representatives of the Diplomatic Council?"
She then proceeded to do just that.
