"Now is as good a time as any...this will give the doctor time to
settle things down."
The Klingon nodded before tapping his communicator. "K'Tael to Holt."
"Holt, here. We have just finished docking. Go ahead, sir."
"Can you come down to Security. I would like you to brief Admiral
Renaud and myself about your mission."
"I will be right down, sir."
About 15 minutes later, the Assistant Chief of Security found her way
to K'Tael's office, where the two men were waiting for her.
K'Tael turned to the CO to allow him to take the lead in the discussion
since he was the senior officer.
"Hope you had a good trip, Mr. Aravis. What do you have for me?"
"Well, I hope yu don't mind, sir, but I brought someone else along. I
thought he might be of help considering what we found while we were out
there."
(response?)
"This is Lt. Gabe Ares. He was one of the scientists you sent us out to
locate. As you can see, we were able to find him and his companion. It
seems that they were taken by what I believe to be a group of Brothers.
They were using some alien technology, the one that I told you about,
to allow access to a facility they could use as a base of operations
and still have access to various sites in the Solar System."

Gabe bowed his head at the two senior officers. He had never met
either of them before, but he hoped he could prove helpful with the
mysteries he had become involved that seemed to be centered around the
facility he had been rescued from.
