Just then, the doors to the conference room parted and revealed Lt.
Aravis
Holt standing in.  As usual, her hair was once again pulled back  in a
tight
bun.  She was holding a PADD, and her uniform could not have  been any
more
perfect.  She walked over to the table and took a  seat.  "Well,
gentlemen,
I have arranged for the prisoner to be brought  in a few minutes.  I
just
wanted to know if there is anything you  wanted to ask or that we
should go
over before we started his  interview."

Torgath decided to start.  "Have we received any more  information
about
Leaver?"

Aravis tapped a few things on the table and activated the viewscreen on
the
wall at the end of the table.  "No one has had a chance to talk to him
as of
yet.  You pack quite a punch, Mr. Breknor," she added with a smile.

"My apologies for harming him in any way. We were just concerned about
the safety of Mr. Shevab and wanted to incapacitate his attacker as
quickly as possible."

"The prisoner is still unconscious.  We had someone come up from
Sickbay to
check up on him, but he is all right."  She tapped a few more things on
the
console and the screen shifted from the traditional Starfleet insignia
to
what was clearly Leaver's employment records.  "As you can see, there
is
nothing extraordinary about Mr. Leaver, but that can be said of most of
the
Brothers we have captured.  They are talented and, often, well
positioned,
but there records are clean."

Torgath read through the report on the screen and had to admit that
the Lieutenant was correct.  Leaver did well in work, but not
extraordinary enough to stand out.  He did not seem to get into any
sort of trouble either.

"Do we have any information about his personal history outside of work?"

"He is from Earth ... California, more specifically.  His family has
always
has a skirting relationship with Starfleet as well as the shipping
industry."

That seemed to fit in with the recent attack at the funeral for
Admiral Lasiter's son, though, transportation around Earth was easy
thanks to the transporter network.

"We may want to send someone down to talk to his family and friends in
the area. It is possible that some of them may also be involved with
the Brotherhood. That tends to be the case in situations like this,"
added the Brikarian.
