Yes Halok is an Admiral, but Rear Admiral at that. Chane certainly outranks him, however bickering over this is not condusive to procduction and running Starfleet. Chane mentally notes this and continues his silence. t'Llhweiir listened and watched the interchange, learning about the personalities she would have to work with as she did. Finally, she intervened. "Admiral, I have been acting CinC for a total of 2 and one half hours. As soon as I find out what's going on myself, I'll let you know." > After everyone else is finished, McIlhenny suggests. I'm surprised that someone didn't again question my Romulan ancestry and former connections with the Tal Shiar. The whole thing is political madness."
