> "Admiral Bedru I have to admit that I am not comfortable with
this. I do not trust Watson as far as I can throw him. I can't help but
wonder what the hell he is up to. But.... With the understanding that
this is a short term assignment. We will re-evalutate this in 6
months."

"Very well, Sir. I will convey this to the ambassador." Since
she was still standing, Bedru simply asked, "Is there anything further?"

(response)

Once Lasiter dismissed her, Bedru left his offce and
headed back towards her own.

(ooc: what time of day is it?)

As she
walked, she reviewed the meeting with Lasiter. She probably should have
told him everything that had occurred with Watson, but since she had
never told him of her personal problems with the ambassador in the past,
it did not seem appropriate to tell him now. Theirs had never evolved
beyond the professional level for some reason, and she had not felt
comfortable bringing her personal situation to him.

She used her padd
to send a quick message to Watson. "James, Adm. Lasiter has approved the
request, with a six-month review. Candance."

When she entered her
office suite, she said to her assistant, "Staek, Ambassador Watson's
office should be contacting you to place a series of meetings on my
schedule. Any between me and him or his staff need to be set around my
regular schedule. Adjust my schedule, however, for Diplomatic Council
meetings once they had been set."

"Yes, Admiral," the Vulcan replied.

She went into the inner office to catch up on whatever needed to be
done.

(more to come)
