"You brought backup?"

"Let's chat once we've reached that bar," Carrhae replied crytically.

Matt had remained with the vehicle, watching the area as Carrhae had checked on
Garibaldi. There didn't seem to be anyone new approaching. "You look well,
Marcus. Considering," Matthew greeted him.

"Thanks. Doc. You, my friend, look marvelous.", he said with a big smile.
"I'm sorry to meet up like this. Anyone else hurt?

"It takes more than a flashbang to hurt me," Matthew said with a crooked grin.

"Other than my ears still ringing and a headache, I seem to be fine," Carrhae
replied. Then, "Marcus, how do we reach the bar you suggested?" she asked the
retired admiral.

"At the end of this street we take a right, then go around the circle to the
3rd right and it is in the middle of the block. "

"Matthew, are you up to driving?" she asked.

"Yes," he told her, waiting for them to climb back into the vehicle. "Not as
sexy as your Ferrari, Marcus. But it'll get us there."

"Beggers can't be choosers.", Marcus said with a wry smile.

Carrhae got into the rear seat and immediately pulled out her 'padd. She
scanned the area to see if their "friends" were nearby or if it detected
anything else of interest.

She detected a vehicle that was oddly similar to the one that Ramesar drove.
It was circling the around the block, and was headed back their way.

She then activated the padd's sensor jammer to cover their conversation.

Once they were underway, she kept her gaze on their surrounding. She wondered,
too, about Thompson. If he detected anyone interested in Naraal, then their
"friends" had very possibly somehow learned about him. She could not do more
than speculate until they could talk with Garibaldi.
