Hi Team, I think there may be another issue regarding cloned channels and checksums. Even with the updated packages, my client machines constantly get yum errors trying to use cloned spacewalk channels. They get the classic: "Failed to retrieve repodata/primary.xml.gz ..." For either a "Error Performing Checksum" or "Metadata file does not match checksum" ... type error. I went through the rather painful process of recreating my production channel tree for RHEL 5.3, this time manually creating them rather than cloning them from another channel and magically, my clients no longer have a problem with the checksums.
