Right, supporting multiple DBMSes is *hard* and expensive in developer
time, even when you design it in from the beginning, which did not
happen here. After watching this for a year or two I've become
convinced that spacewalk will never expend the effort needed to make
that happen. So I'm afraid the above is probably correct: the current
development plan ensures that spacewalk will be Oracle-only forever.
Or, if enough people are annoyed about it, there might be a
Postgres-only fork.
