I don't know how to fix your taskomatic, but I'd like you to check out wether you're noticing a creeping slowdown of your spacewalk system once you make taskomatic work again. In fact I'm (still) suspecting taskomatic to leak database transactions which eventually hurts performance (see #705935).
I tried it with different versions of spacewalk in my test environment and I could always reproduce the issue. I'd like to hear wether or not you're seeing it your production environment, too.
