Oh, I am sorry. I remember I saw something like this - I'm running into the 255 character kernel options line limit on https://github.com/cobbler/cobbler/wiki/Troubleshooting I tried even more than 1024 :-) and it works. Regarding the other issue - I must have checked it wrong.
