Another thing needed will be to port the code using YUM to DNF. Instances of yum usage are in the following: * utils/depsolver.py * backend/satellite_tools/repo_plugins/yum_src.py * utils/cloneByDate.py The DNF API is documented here: https://dnf.readthedocs.io/en/latest/api.html At least there's an example of a reposync implementation: https://github.com/rpm-software-management/dnf-plugins-core/blob/master/plugins/reposync.py Changing from YUM to DNF kills off the only major blocker to the Python 2 -> Python 3 change.
