I would start here. I think you are doing something wrong during installation. If previous admin installed 0.1 and it works and you installed 0.1 and it did not work. Then the problem is not in Spacewalk but in your installation steps. I suggest you to compare your installation of 0.1 with the installation of the former admin and try to find differences.
