I've seen similar behaviour after updating the sl-release package on several clients. The quick fix for me was to re-register the machines. -- Jan-Albert

Its not clear if you get this message when you push updates or if you trying to join the server to spacewalk. 1) Did system join to spacewalk server or you have this issue when you join? 2) What channel is it bind to if it joined? Last but not least, Check systemid file in /etc/sysconfig/rhn/ Compare systemid against rhel6.2 or other known working RHEL 6.2 like system, also compare outputs of lsb_release on two systems.
