I guess it's not that difficult to split the script in 2, where you save the output in a file and further down the road you read in the file again. The function parse_redhat_errata is the one that creates the needed xml. So in the first script, just change that file to output the result in a file. And in the second script, change the call to parse_redhat_errata() to just a function that reads in that file again in the same resulting var. Franky
