I was able to recreate this after yesterday's hackery and installing all of the
SARE rulesets:

Failed to run HTML_SHORT_LENGTH SpamAssassin test, skipping:

/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.1/Mail/SpamAssassin/EvalTests.pm line 3136.

With the default SA rulesets this doesn't happen.
