Summary: Message-id has all blank front part
Product: Spamassassin
Version: SVN Trunk (Latest Devel Version)
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P5
Component: Rules
AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
In response to Mike Hogsett's query in SA-Users message
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, I posted my response at
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, and then did a mass-check on a test
rule:
header RM_hm_AllCaps Message-ID =~ /<[A-Z]{17,}\@/ # no /i
describe RM_hm_AllCaps Ratware all-caps message-id
score RM_hm_AllCaps 5.000
#hist RM_hm_AllCaps Created by Bob Menschel May 28 2004
#counts RM_hm_AllCaps 10870s/0h of 89431 corpus (67434s/21997h) 05/28/04
That's 10k spam, 16% of my spam corpus. No ham. It looks too good to be true,
but if full public and dev corpus testing results are similar, then something
like this should go into 3.0.0
