interestingly, it seems to make it a lot further in the kdump. last debug
line output is

that's quite a bit further than the previous trace, which died before spamd had
even daemonized. I'd prefer to see one that failed in the same place ;)
however... that would be consistent with spamd coredumping due to memory
corruption caused by a bad copy of the Conf object using Storable, so I'm
sticking with that theory.
Also, Storable was added as a required module relatively recently in 3.0.0
development.
