SA = memory hog?

Hi,

I'm a complete SA novice, have done a basic by-the-book installation in
conjunction with a CommuniGate server. The CGSPA server wide filter is
set up to run 

        C:\Perl\bin\perl.exe "C:\CommuniGate Files\cgpsa"

The perl.exe executable is now consuming about 125MB of memory. Is this
normal?

I've trained SA with a substantial amount of ham and spam. Will this
influence memory usage?

OS: Win2k Pro, SP4
SA: 2.55
CommuniGate: 4.1.8

Any input would be much appreciated.
