Hi

I would like to extend my e-mail backup system to also back up all
required SA files.

I'll probably need to back up ~/.spamassassin/ but are there any other
directories that I need to back up in order to restore my system to the
current state?

I use spamd, do I need to shut it down before creating this backup? I
know I need to shut down evolution (even use the --force-shutdown option
to shut down all child processes) before backing up because it doesn't
constantly syncs all data to disk. So backing up without shutting down
might lead to data corruption. Is there any concern with spamd? Or is
the bayes db updated every time spamc is invoked, and only then?

I'm running:
Gnome evolution 1.4.5 (which collects my mail through POP3)
SpamAssassin version 2.63
on SuSE 8.2 Pro

TIA
