Hi Gary,
Just set up the same thing a couple weeks ago. Everything is working great.

My configuration is:
Redhat 9.0
Sendmail
Mailscanner
Spamassassin
Clamav

Webmin for some server management but mostly use Putty from my NT 4.0
workstation

For stats I just installed mailscanner-mrtg and it does a nice job.

Install and setup was fairly straight forward and this was only my second
*nix box.
