Got a question. I've got a Bayes DB on a master mail machine that is running OpenBSD 3.4. I have 6 secondary machines, all running RedHat 8. It is apparent that the version of Berkeley is different between the two, because when I try to move my Bayes DB's over to the secondary machines, DB_File fails to tie to them. After I run the nifty db-to-file script I found in the SA Wiki, things then work fine... on one machine. Another machine will correctly db-to-file the bayes_seen, but not bayes_toks, as it throws a whole bunch of errors.

Soooo...

I figure the easiest thing to do would be to head over to sleepycat and pick up the newest version of the Berkeley DB stuff and load it on all the machines, thus (hopefully) making everyone compatible and I don't need to worrry about any conversions.

So I've loaded the new version on my master machine, however, I've seen no change in the version of the DB file when I do a file /etc/mail/spamassassin/bayes/bayes*

I wonder, do I need to recompile spamassassin to make it aware of the new version of Berkeley?

Thanks in advance!
