>>> Are you under any policy requirement to accept mail from
dynamically-assigned IP space?

Thanks, Bob, I appreciate the feedback.

In fact, we're pretty aggressive on filtering and I've been using
dynablock.dsnbl.org at the SMTP level to stop a bunch (I kill 35-45% of
incoming email with RBLs at SMTP connection). I added dnsbl.sorbs.net to
the list yesterday; we'll see how that works out.

>>> Another spam sign is a system that HELO's with something other than
a FQDN.

I tried that and reverse DNS checks when we first installed this 2
months ago. I was surprised and frustrated at the number of legitimate
(non-UCE, non-spam) servers that were misconfigured, with the lion's
share of the admins having no freakin' clue. Big names, too. It was
causing so much work for me, and so many problems for my users, that I
gave up. Maybe some day, someone REALLY big will start enforcing the
RFCs before they will accept email, but I felt like it was a one-man
windmill tilting against the Internet.

>>> Post the address or send to Chris, this belongs in EvilNumbers.

Thank you, Loren, I'll do exactly that.
