FWIW, I'm running 3.0 from CVS. I'm not sure if that should make a
performance difference. I upgraded from a 300 Mhz PII with 128 MB ram to my
current P4 2.4 ghz AND upgraded versions at the same time and saw times go
from 10-30 secs down to 1-3 secs. I suspect that's mostly due to the upgrade
from hunk of junk to Binford 5100 series but maybe 3.0 is more efficient?
