more efficient, do it from Mutt or another IMAP client right on the
spamassassin gateway. If the users drag & drop the mails into the public
folders, the headers should remain intact. This works extremely well.

drag and drop of mails works for forwarding an intact mail as well.
just open up a new message and drag and drop the mail you want to forward into the new mail window.
outlook will attach an unmodified and clean .eml file which can be fed to sa-learn.
