yes that's the issue with M$, they only pretend to be proper 'internet' email clients/servers, when really this functionality is a bolt on to their own messaging system.

How they handle internet email differs from client to client, server to server and version to version...

This does not work in Outlook 2003. An .eml file is attached, but it does not have the full headers, only a partial subset.
