Hi list dwellers. I need some feedback. I'm still tech editing a book for SA. Its making great progress and the publisher has taken great steps to listen to the community. One chapter I felt needed covering was using SA on an email gateway, and they agreed.
Now I'm faced with the question of what the chapter should cover. My setup is extremely unique, because I didn't know better when I did it :) So I'm looking for the most popular setups to cover. So I'm asking 2 things: 1) IF the Devs have a feel for what seems to be the most popular SA gateway setups, can you email me off list? 2) Can people who use SA on a gateway, email me a brief setup description? MTA, internal server version, and definitely any info on user account checking at the gateway? (LDAP or SQL.....) I'm thinking for the most part the chapter should be: Any MTA, SA runs sitewide, gateway simply passes it on to internal server without checking if user is legit. Then maybe something on how to handle bayes feeding with this setup? Any offlist comment are welcome. Thanks!
