V. 2.63 or 3.0

Hello,

I'm running CommuniGate Pro 4.1.8 on Mac OS X for a small company (~ 70
accounts) and am planning on adding SA and CGPSA.  I have a couple of
questions:

1) Will 3.0 be officially released soon or is it stable enough to run in its
current beta state?
2)  Are there major differences between 2.63 and 3.0 to make it worth the
wait?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
