I couldn't agree with Ryan more. For one thing, the suggestion to tweak my Procmail settings doesn't work, because I don't use Procmail. I am using the spamass-milter for Sendmail. Also, tweaking other programs and library settings to make SA do what I want it to do seems like a bad idea, mostly since other programs might rely on their settings being "Correct". Truth of the matter is this: I have come to the conclusion, thanks to the help of the people on this list, that the all_spam_to, awl and whitelist_from rules don't get counted during the autolearning process. If I understand what I've been told correctly, only header and body test points count towards the autolearn decision, and that's fine with me. I can, however, see a case where someone would want e-mails to or from a particular user or domain to be completely ignored by SA. Whether or not that has been addresses in 3.0 I'm not sure, but I'm happy with the answer as-is for now. Thanks for all your help.
