I am using: MS Outlook 2000 SP-3 (9.0.0.6627) Cipher strength 128 bits,
MS Windows XP Home Edition 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2,
Athlon 2200 w/ 512Mb physical memory,
avast! 4.6 Home Edition w/ Outlook-Exchange plug-in, and
All-In-One Secretmaker 4.2.5.Last night, I installed SpamBayes 1.0.4 Outlook client version. I turned off the Spam fighter feature in "Secretmaker." I ran the configuration wizard. Everything seemed to operate just fine including operating the "delete as spam" button. The "send" command acted a bit quirky however in that one of two outbox items remained after "send/receive" and I had to repeat the command twice to send the second item. This morning, when I used the quick launch button (as usual) to activate Outlook, the process froze when displaying the avast! plug-in logo. A second attempt got past the logo but then froze before the Personal Folders view was complete. A third attempt got as far as the second but then opened a blank white window titled "Personal Folders" but then this too froze. Finally, I removed SpamBayes from the system and Outlook is running well enough to send you this message. Any help? Thanks for listening David Carattini Rockford, MI
