We've been having to return a lot of messages lately for excessive quoting. 
When you reply to a message, you should not be leaving the entire previous 
message quoted at the bottom. While this is common in non-tech business 
circles, it has historically been considered a waste of bandwidth and disk 
space, and is still so considered by people who have been on the net for 10 
years or more.

When quoting, the preferred approach is to quote just enough text to give 
the reply context, and to place the quoted text above the reply text.
