Phil Tanny <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> has been trying to sell white-listing.

For me white-listing is a huge negative, and would/could not be
implemented here in any regard, and I think anyone who actually does
e-business would agree.

I might get email orders and inquiries from world-side sources with no
possibility to know who, when or from where. To expect a potential or
existing customer to implement the challenge necessary to place an order
or ask a question is unreasonable. Heck it's hard enough to get them to
write in the first place.

Sure, spam is a huge problem, but I can't afford to throw out the baby
with the bath water.

I also think micro-payments for sending email is unrealistic as well.
Way too much bookkeeping and handling to deal with, running a business
is too accounting intensive as it is, and adding to that overload is
unrealistic.

Until legislation, legal methologies or whack-a-mole is effective (and
it isn't, now) I'll have to oppose both of these ideas as not fitting MY
business model.
